The Journey of the Soul
Day 54
The Journey of the Soul
Embarking on the Cosmic Voyage
The soul, likened to a traveler, takes flight to explore the sky and the realms beyond. It enters the body through the external organs, setting the stage for sensory experiences. Each organ—the eyes for sight, skin for touch, ears for hearing, nose for smell, and tongue for taste—becomes the conduit for perceiving the world.
Breath of Life and Vitality
Breathing air, the life force animating the body, empowers the organs and stimulates mental faculties. This vital breath sustains the embodied soul within the body's cavity, infusing it with energy akin to a spark igniting a fire. The concept of Jiva, the living soul, encapsulates the essence of reality within the illusory framework of the body.
Perception and Illusion
The mind, inventor of words and bearer of ideas, creates a world of illusion where words falsely embody divine essence. Like a dreamer soaring in the sky, the unproduced Brahma represents the ephemeral nature of existence. Despite the appearance of reality, the universe, including Brahma and all creations, is but a manifestation of divine consciousness.
Transcending Illusion
In the grand scheme of creation, nothing is truly born or formed; all is an eternal projection of the divine mind. The earth and existence itself are akin to fleeting dreams in the waking state, dissipating into nothingness. The universe, a manifestation of the Supreme Spirit, reflects the immutable nature of the creator, transcending duality and dispute.
The Unknowable Essence
The essence of God, beyond containment and description, permeates all existence yet remains elusive. Neither the world nor its creator, God exists beyond comprehension, shining eternally in the realm of consciousness. Just as the image of a whirlpool arises from the idea of fluidity, the illusion of reality dissipates upon realization of the soul's indestructible nature.
Analogy: The Dreamer's Journey
Imagine yourself as a traveler in a dream, soaring through vast skies and exploring unknown realms. As you enter the dream world through the portals of perception—sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste—you become immersed in a sensory journey. Yet, amidst the dream's illusions, you encounter the breath of life, animating your existence and infusing vitality into your being.
In this dreamlike state, you realize the ephemeral nature of reality, akin to the fleeting images and sensations of a dream. Just as the dreamer's consciousness remains untouched by the dream's fluctuations, your true essence, like Brahma, transcends the illusions of the material world. Through this journey, you awaken to the profound truth that the essence of existence lies beyond the realm of perception, shining eternally in the vast expanse of consciousness.
In nutshell, we are all Micro Brahma, creating a new universe every night when we sleep, and desolve it when we wake up.
