The Hierarchy of Beings: Noble, Average, and Dark

Day 109

The Hierarchy of Beings: Noble, Average, and Dark

In the genesis of creation, beings are categorized into the best, the worst, and the middling, reflecting their inherent qualities and tendencies.

The Noble Ones At the pinnacle are beings born of noble practices, inherently inclined towards goodness and virtuous deeds. They swiftly progress towards liberation, characterized by purity and luminosity.

The Average Ones A middling group comprises those with a blend of dynamism and desire, exhibiting traits of both passion and purity. Depending on their proximity to liberation, their nature may vary from predominantly rajasic to tamasic.

The Dark Ones The lowest among beings are steeped in impurity and darkness, possessing strong worldly habits and dense ignorance. Liberation for them may be distant and uncertain, with their tendencies dominated by tamas.

The Essence of Creation

All beings, regardless of their classification, arise from the absolute Brahman due to a slight disturbance in its equilibrium, akin to waves emerging on the surface of the ocean. Just as different spaces within containers are integral parts of one cosmic space, all beings are manifestations of the infinite being and eventually merge back into it.

Conclusion

The diverse manifestations of beings, from noble to dark, are transient appearances within the infinite Brahman's will, arising and dissolving in accordance with its divine plan.
