The Origin of the Universe
Day 102
The Origin of the Universe
Brahma's Revelation
Vasistha recounts a conversation with the creator Brahma, who disclosed the process of the universe's creation. Brahma describes awakening from the cosmic night and contemplating the desire to create. In his mind, he visualizes multiple universes, each with its own creators and inhabitants, along with scriptures outlining moral codes and paths to various goals.
The Marvel of Creation
Brahma observes the intricate details of these universes, including celestial bodies, continents, oceans, and the flow of time. He marvels at the vastness of creation and questions how he perceives it all within his mind, without the aid of physical senses.
Seeking Answers from the Sun
In search of clarity, Brahma summons one of the suns from a solar system and poses his inquiry. The sun acknowledges Brahma's omnipotence and affirms that the entire creative process is a manifestation of the mind, causing a delusion of reality or unreality. Despite Brahma's inherent knowledge, the sun responds to his query at his command.
